On the Campaign Trail: Obama-Biden 2008

"Individual responsibility and mutual responsibility - that's the essence of America's promise." - Barack Obama, Democratic Presidential Candidate

CONGRATULATIONS TO DEMOCRAT BARACK OBAMA FOR HIS PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION! OBAMA-BIDEN 2008!!

it was by no means "happenstance" that Obama's nomination acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, CO fell on the 45th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s historic "I Have a Dream" speech. this would best be described as "divine" as only God can truly plan something like this.

for "change we can believe in," be sure to go out and vote on 11/04/08. click here for more information on voting and voter registration.

it was a "fashionable" twist however to see Obama wearing a red tie, along with his family who later joined him onstage also wearing red, which is generally associated with the conservative Republican Party. blue, on the hand, has been associated with the Democratic Party. from Day 1 of the Convention, our next First Lady, Michelle, wore a blue dress when she delivered her speech at the DNC to his VP-running mate Joe Biden wearing a blue tie beside him that night. wonder if there was any subtle strategy to that?
