On the Campaign Trail: Black Folk Must Vote!!

of the 24 million black Americans eligible to vote, only 16 million are registered. it's simple math people:

24M - 16M = 8M

8 million, or almost 35%, of eligible black voters have elected to not have their voices heard. it is critical - especially now in the midst of war, recession, lack of healthcare, and soon-to-be vacant Supreme Court seats, among numerous other issues - that everyone exercise their right to vote.

BlackFolkMustVote.org was spawned from the slogan of the same name used in the 1960s during the Civil Rights Movement as a way to encourage Americans of color to vote. while it is not their goal to endore any candidates or political party, it is their mission to get you to: 1) register, 2) VOTE, 3) be heard, and 4) be counted. vist the site for more information as well as BFMV items such as T-shirts, caps, or the button (shown above).

be sure that your voice is "heard." VOTE on November 4th. if you are not yet registered, you may do so here.
