fly girl Kerry Washington is on top of her game and shows no signs of pumping the brakes anytime in the near future. having appeared in more than 20 feature films to date, she's been the "it" girl (shall we call her?) numerous times. two of her movies have earned her co-stars Jamie Foxx and Forest Whitaker in "Ray" and "The Last King of Scotland," respectively, the Best Actor Academy Award. to that she tells Suzanne Zuckmerman of Page Six Magazine, "It's just been my ploy to get more work in this town...I tell men, 'If you hire me, you might get an Oscar!' " Ms. Washington even shifted gears last year to co-direct Common's music video "I Want You".
September 26th you can catch her in the highly-anticipated Spike Lee World War II film Miracle at St. Anna. if you need your fix before then, you can see her this weekend in Lakeview Terrace alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Patrick Wilson.
